Being Independent & Persistence

4/12/2018

This month Willow Class are working on two big goals. We are working on being persistent and independent. These are two very important tasks as they help us get ready for 2nd class and for being persistent and independent adults. We need our families to support and encourage us reach our personal goals this month.
Boys and girls have picked independent goals they would like to work on, some of these include; tying our shoelaces, standing in the line by themselves in the morning, getting dressed independently, being organised with the clothes for school, tying their football boots independently.
At the end of the month, I will be awarding children who have made an effort to achieve these goals with a homework pass and 10 dojo points. Parents can use class dojo to let me know how the boys and girls are getting on with these goals at home. IT's going to be a super month of working tough, never giving up and being proud of our independent efforts.
